The Evangelical Students and Graduates Union of Ethiopia (EvaSUE) Alumni Fellowship in North America (currently EvaSUE - USA) was founded in 2007 by a small group of former EvaSUE students and full-time ministers in Dallas, Texas. Its primary purpose is to support the mission and vision of the student ministries of EvaSUE in Ethiopia through prayer, financial contributions, and other means, as EvaSUE proclaims God’s kingdom in Ethiopian Colleges and Universities. In addition, EvaSUE—USA serves as a space for EvaSUE alumni to network and fellowship in North America. It fosters alumni networks and connections within the United States and with Ethiopian ministries, creating a network of ministry partners for EvaSUE.

EvaSUE-USA is a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization under the U.S. Internal Revenue Code and California Revenue and Taxation Code Sections 23701d and 214. Since its inception, numerous dedicated volunteers, former EvaSUE students, staff, supporters, Ethiopian churches in the USA, and other partners have supported EvaSUE in various capacities through EvaSUE-USA. Many EvaSUE graduates actively serve in churches and ministries across North America, taking on leadership and pastoral roles within Ethiopian communities and beyond.
